What does R.S.V.P actually stands for?

Recently, I was wondering about what does R.S.V.P.actually stands for? I used to get it when i receive any invitation for any event here on Facebook, I understood what I'm supposed to do, but i never thought about what does it actually mean till a few days ago, I don't know why?

Anyway, I started asking my friends, what does it mean? but no one knew actually, even my friends who have English as a 1st language, which was even weirder, so, I looked it up on the internet and that's what I got, I found it interesting as it originates from French language, so I thought I should share it with u all.

What RSVP Means ?

The term R.S.V.P. comes from the French expression "répondez s'il vous plaît", meaning "please respond". If R.S.V.P. is written on an invitation it means the invited guest must tell the host whether or not they plan to attend the party. It does not mean to respond only if you're coming, and it does not mean respond only if you're not coming (the expression "regrets only" is reserved for that instance). It means the host needs a definite head count for the planned event, and needs it by the date specified on the invitation.

Why It's Inconsiderate to Not RSVP ?

An incomplete list of respondents can cause numerous problems for a host including difficulty in planning food quantities, issues relating to minimum guarantees with catering halls, uncertainty over the number of party favors and difficulties in planning appropriate seating, among other things.

So the next time you see R.S.V.P. on an invitation you receive, please call your host and respond promptly.

I Believe That .....

Today I'll share things that I really Believe in, hope you like them...





1.I Believe That..
Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want to get.

2.I Believe That..
Maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had, and what you've learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated.

3.I Believe That..
Our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we've became. Don't blame anyone but yourself :D

4.I Believe That..
Judging people is one of the worst mistakes that we all fall into. If we just could stop doing that, life would be so much easier.

5.I Believe That..
I'm different & that i've great potentials, I just doesn't fit where I'm right now, However, I'm working towards finding the place where I can fit in, once I'm there, the real me will Dazzle everyone including me, or that's what I really hope ;)

6.I Believe That..
Two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different. Just to emphasize that I'm different :D

7.I Believe That..
It's taking me a long time to become the person I wanna be. I'm not sure if what am I doing is the right thing to do, not sure what is it gonna get me to. Will I be the person that I wanna be someday?? I really don't know :(.

8.I Believe That..
Credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.

9.I Believe That..
You can do something in an instant that will give you headache for life.

10.I Believe That..
What's keeping me alive & going is :
A. Strong Faith in Almighty ALLAH.
B. Hope.
C. Optimism.
D. Relentless struggle.

11. I Believe That..
You only Fail when you stop trying & You can't Win until u r not afraid to loose ( in other words: you can't win until you are not afraid to play with the offside trap;):D:D:D:D )

12.I Believe That..
You can keep going long after you think you can't, Just do your best to go for what you can, the rest is in ALLAH's hands.

13.I Believe That..
No matter how bad your heart is broken the world doesn't stop for your grief. You too should not stop, If you've to, then not for too long.

14.I Believe That..
Helping everyone around you with no limitations whatsoever, is a great thing to do specially if you are a Muslim and doing it in the context that "Muslims are mercy for all mankind", However, currently it is a really hard thing to do.

15.I Believe That..
You should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them. True experience !!!

16.I Believe That..
Heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the risks or consequences. Where are those right now ???

17.I Believe That..
Money is a lousy way of keeping score.

A Smile is a little curve that can set a lot of things straight.

It will be really difficult to find my soul mate. I really hope that i'm wrong.

How are you doing today ??

In this Topic I'm gonna post a couple of videos I've recently watched, They are Hilarious and shows our Egyptian way to cry out when we are so suppressed/depressed ...

The 1st video, Shows a punch of Medical Students, I think in the 6th year after a final oral exam., instead of Storming out, being Sad or depressed, they made fun of the situation in this video, this is a well known defense mechanism in psychiatry called "Humor", and this is one of the Mature Defense Mechanisms ... That's why we are still surviving, this is how we cope with stresses in our daily lives on different degrees ofcourse, but this is one of the most Hilarious videos I've ever seen, I guess at least we are mature after all, and when we face the q how are you coping with these stresses? I guess we should answer, coz we are more mature, we just make fun of, we laugh ... :D:D
